Who is Julie Crockett?
I started investing in 2002 and built a large property portfolio on a single income. Having helped many others to start property investing, I went from a full time teaching position in a GPS Sydney school to getting my Real Estate licence and starting my own Buyer’s Agency business in 2010.
I realised the actual ‘teaching’ part of my day to day was what I really missed and during Covid created a Property Investor’s Course to help first time investors and Rentvestors learn how to buy their own investment property.
I saw so many investors making really common mistakes when investing that put them on the back foot when it came to buying their second investment property. Some were so daunted with the property purchase process and stuck in ‘analysis paralysis’ that they ended up not buying anything at all.
Many women, in particular, are still falling through the cracks when it comes to any type of investing and I started my podcast, ‘Her Investment Property’ in 2021 to try and turn this around. The podcast has helped many women to gain the confidence to start accessing learning and buying their own investment properties.
Another way of giving back is through regular Guest Expert articles that I provide to ‘Australian Property Investor Magazine’, an online magazine with a readership of around 50,000.
One thing is for sure, I’m absolutely passionate when it comes to helping others to invest in property, strategically and with confidence.
